Product Description
Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, is a type of vitamin D, which has been proven to be the true active form of vitamin D in the body. Currently, there are at least 10 types of vitamin D, but the most important ones are vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Cholecalciferol, also known as vitamin D3, is the most important one in the vitamin D family. It mainly regulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism in the body. Vitamin D3 is converted from 7-dehydrocholesterol in the skin through ultraviolet radiation.
Function:
1. Promote growth and bone calcification, and promote tooth health.
2. Increase the absorption of phosphorus through the intestinal wall and the reabsorption of phosphorus through the renal tubules.
3. Maintain the normal level of citrate in the blood.
